Who This Cooler Is Actually Good For

It’s also a real fit for hunters and anglers who need a cooler that doubles as a seat, takes a beating in a truck bed, and survives being dragged across gravel for a decade. The rotomolded shell isn’t hype. I’ve dropped one off a tailgate loaded with ice and gear, and it didn’t crack.

If you’re building a dedicated overland rig with a slide-out kitchen, the 45 is a common anchor size: enough for a weekend of food and drinks for 2-3 people, small enough to leave room for recovery gear and water jugs.
